Ripe red fruits, cigar box, chocolate all backed by a herbal edge and importantly, red bell pepper, not green!  Amazing balance of ripe fruit, acidity, tannin and texture on the palate. A sumptuous wine that deserves to step out of the shadow of Argentinian Malbec.  (It probably never will so only the adventurous will discover such amazing wines.)

Cabernet Franc is planted on the west-eastern slope of the Chañares Estate with northern exposure that favours air circulation and healthy growing conditions. Aged for 18 months in a combination of new and second use French oak barrels, bottled unfined and unfiltered.
