New wave orange wine made form 80% Inzolia and 20% Zibibbo grapes in southern Sicily. Fermentation is made on the grape skins which are macerated, giving the vibrant orange colour, and ageing on the lees is extended for more than three months. The finished wine emerges both fruity and fresh with intense tangerine and citrus peel flavours. As is typical with most orange wines, the increased tannin levels help add structure and lift to the wine’s finish. Insieme translates to ‘together’ and celebrates time with family and friends.
