A terrific 2010 vintage Grande Champagne Cognac, bottled up by Hermitage! This expression was produced with a majority of Ugni Blanc, combined with Folle Blanche grapes.
Aged in a combination of old and new Limousin casks, wood chips are also added to increase the wood interaction, imparting a wonderful oaken tannic influence.
Chocolate toffees, rich roasted coffee, and dark cocoa, musty oak, and a touch of leather follow sweet, cakey spice.
